Good Evening My dear Friends

I, on behalf of the BIT Alumni Trophy Organizing committee including BIT Physical Education Department head by Dr.Jeyaraman and BIT Alumnae, and on my own behalf extend a very hearty vote of thanks to all of you for being part of our 2nd State Level Inter Engineering College Tournament. 

First and foremost my heartfelt gratitude to our beloved chairman, Dr.S V Balasubramanian for his support and encouragement to make this event a grand success.

Many thanks to our principal, Dr C Palanisamy, Trustee, Dr M P Vijayakumar IAS (Retd.) and Dean PDS Dr.K.Sivakumar for standing by in every step that we took in organizing this event.

Our special thanks to our honourable chief guest Mr HUZEFA M PATEL, Tamilnadu Ranji Trophy Cricket Player for gracing the occasion today and distributing the Prizes for all our winning teams. Thank you, Sir!

Mr A R Vishnuwarthanan, Proprietor Sri Abiraami Transport, has been the representation of BIT Alumnae in planning and coordinating for the BIT Alumni Trophy. Thank you so much for your support and I am sure we together would organize many such State level tournaments in the coming years.

It’s not an easy feat to make a sports event at this scale a grand success during monsoon time on an open ground. Thanks to all the coaches and student volunteers, non-teaching staff and housekeeping team for preparing the ground.

I am not sure when our BIT coaches had good sound sleep. Pat on your shoulders for all your best efforts for making this event memorable for all of us. 

Hospitality and security are always two eyes of BIT. Thanks a lot to each one on the orgnizing team to ensuring our players safety and security with utmost care.

An exciting, challenging AND sportive tournament, cannot be successful by itself. Its the referees who make them unbiased and lively. We didnt have the opportunity to thank each one of you at the end of every match, hence A BIG FAT thank you to all the officials for accepting our invitation and engaging us throughout the event.

My dear friends who have come from different engineering colleges, the Alumnae participants are here to reiterate that all the fun and frolic do not end at college. Let your sport continue with you as a lifelong companion.
